I chose this image because the sides to this war were very inequal; Italy was much more militarily powerful than Ethiopia. Despite this, Ethiopia still ended up winning despite the visible power imbalance. -

The image relates in many aspects to Italy's involvement. The photo demonstrates how Italy wanted to expand and spread their fascist ideas and also build a cooperative relationship with Germany, much like what you do in the game in the image. Furthermore, the result of the Civil war caused Italy's resources to be drained, akin to what happens in the game when you send troops to conquer a area. -
