The image shows a wall-mounted crank telephone. The phone is encased in a wooden box with a dark finish, and it features a separate earpiece attached by a cord, along with a fixed mouthpiece mounted on the front. Above the mouthpiece are two metal bells used for ringing. A crank handle is mounted on the side, which would have been used to generate a signal to connect calls. -
